DEX-451 Information Bar

The Information Bar displays page metadata, including tags and date information such as Published Date, Last Updated Date, and Event Date. Tags are implemented as nested subcomponents within the Information Bar. The component is used within Title Area and Tiles components.

The Information Bar displays page metadata, including tags and date information such as Published Date, Last Updated Date, and Event Date. It supports nested Tags components and can be configured within Title Area and Tiles components.

How to Configure the Information Bar in Sitecore

  1. Log in to Sitecore as an Author, Approver, or Administrator.
  2. Open Content Editor and navigate to the page when you want to enable Information Bar.
  3. Add or update the required fields like Show tags, Show Date, Date Label, Date and End Date (only visible when Date Label is Event on (range) fields.
  4. Enable Show Information Bar checkbox
  5. Save and publish the changes.

Results

The Information Bar displays the configured tags and date information on the page and on any Tile items linked to that page, helping users quickly identify content categories and relevant dates at a glance.
